Katriina Paavola

Katriina co-founded Alta Wealth Partners (formerly DeFrate and Paavola) in 2005. A Certified Financial Planner(CFP®), Katriina adheres to the stringent ethics and continuing education requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. She received a Certificate in Financial Planning from New York University, and her bachelor’s degree in international business from Schiller International University in London, U.K.. She completed her MBA Degree in Finance and Marketing in 1996 from Pace University in New York City, N.Y.

Prior to becoming an Investment Adviser Representative with the PFG Financial Advisors, Katriina worked in the financial services industry as a financial consultant, analyzing the capital markets as a specialist covering Fixed-Income, and as a Strategic Planner managing projects for a large media company. More information on Katriina's professional investment background can be found here on FINRA's BrokerCheck site.
